Arum, Schaefer & Shaw Set For Courtroom Battles (pound4pound.com 11.21.06)
Schaefer's quote on the Pacquiao situation stated the following: “ The fact is, if you enter into a contractual relationship, and you are represented by an attorney, and you accept a certain amount of money, and you put your signature on it, and you deposit that money in your bank account, and you have signed a promotional deal, then you can not if somebody comes by and offers you more money with a different deal, you can not say, I am going to send that money back and I am going to take this one instead, because where would we end up otherwise? It just doesn’t work like that;..." (full story)

MOSLEYS VS GARY SHAW? (15rounds.com 10.31.06)
How would people view it if two of Don King's employees were seen hanging around a fighter the week of a big fight (that wasn't promoted by DKP), hung out in his dressing room and came into the ring after the fight, and just a week or so later, that particular fighter signed a promotional deal with King? The lynching would have taken place in minutes, I say. The title suggests three words that capture the essence of Gary Shaw. He can alternately charm the birds out of the trees, or virtually melt the skin off your face if he perceives wrongdoing to his family, his staff, his fighters, or his integrity. Extremely sensitive, he often presents a veneer of surliness as window dressing to survive in an often callous business. (full story)
